2. Principles

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content, and we limit ourselves to the necessary minimum. Processing is based on the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland). When the website is accessed, the provider automatically records information in so-called server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser used). This data serves the technical provision and security of the website and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) in order to handle your enquiry. This website has no contact form and stores no input in a database on the website. Delivery is handled technically via our host's mail infrastructure (Infomaniak, Switzerland); our mailbox is operated on Microsoft 365, with Microsoft acting as a processor. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We retain the data until your enquiry has been conclusively dealt with and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

5. Newsletter

On the Newsletter page you can subscribe to our newsletter. For this we process the email address you provide and, if given, your name. Sign-up uses a double opt-in: after you submit the form you receive an email with a confirmation link, and we only add you to the list once you confirm. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the Swiss FADP), which you can withdraw at any time with future effect — via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or by writing to easo@manovis.com. Sending and management of the subscriber list are handled by Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland) as a processor; the sign-up form on easo.app transmits your details to their newsletter service only when you submit it. We use your address solely for the newsletter.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. It also loads no third-party resources — no web fonts, CDNs, embedded videos, maps or social-media widgets. For display we use only the system fonts already present on your device. There is therefore no client-side tracking. As no consent-requiring cookies or tracking technologies are used, no cookie or consent banner is required. Should such services be introduced in future, this policy will be updated beforehand.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.

8. Your rights

Under applicable law you have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to object. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), and within the scope of the GDPR with the competent data protection authority.
